We are on the lookout for experienced Sales Specialists with at least three years experience, who have a passion for musical instruments to join our team. Your expertise and experience will allow you to provide exceptional service and create a world-class shopping experience for our customers. Customer obsession is at the core of this role, ensuring that every interaction leaves a lasting impression and inspires our customers on their musical journey.
General responsibilities
- Generate and drive sales within a specified musical instruments product category
- Foster and maintain customer relationships through the entire customer life cycle
- Complete daily customer outreach to connect the right gear to the right people
- Work with management to set and achieve goals for establishing, growing and expanding gross sales and margin
- Be the go to person for any customer leads, questions, calls, transactions, and returns related to your product category
- Participate in product demonstration videos for our social media and youtube channels - not required but an opportunity to establish your personal brand as a CME sales representative!
Requirements
- 3 or more years of sales experience with a proven track record of success, bonus points for music retail sales experience
- Knowledge and expertise of musical instruments
- Proficient with technology and an ability to learn quickly
- Our tech stack includes Netsuite, Shopify, MacOS, and GSuite
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs on occasion
- Ability to stand and move on feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to crouch, kneel, lift objects overhead, and climb ladders on occasion
Additional Info and Benefits
- Full time position, based out of our store location. Because this is sales, weekend availability is required
- Base Salary + Quarterly Bonus based on gross sales and average discount rate
