Warehouse Associate at Chicago Music Exchange
Chicago Music Exchange is looking for a warehouse associate to join our operations team! You will primarily work with our outbound team by picking, packing, and shipping orders but will also assist the rest of the warehouse operations, including inbound and inventory, with tasks as needed! This role is ideal for someone who loves music and musical instruments!
Primary Responsibilities/Duties:
- Efficiently pick, pack, and ship orders
- Ensure the warehouse areas are, and, remain clean, and uncluttered including maintain clean and fully stocked packing stations
- Assist with stock put away & organization
- Help with delivery load-out and load-in
- Follow all protocols, policies, and procedures for worker safety, and building and inventory security
- Assist with other daily tasks as assigned by managers and lead staff
Must Haves
- General knowledge of musical instruments and accessories
- Proficient with MacOs (Apple)
- Ability to function easily in a sometimes loud, fast-paced, and close quarters environment
Additional Info, Perks, and Benefits
- Starting pay $17.05/hr
- Full time, 40hrs/week, at our store near Lincoln and Belmont. Just steps away from the Paulina Brown Line station!
- Schedule
- Initial training will be Monday through Friday however, your schedule will eventually shift to include weekend coverage. (We are open 7 days a week)
